NFCW reader meetup: Tuesday 27 January in London

Near Field Communications World’s editor Sarah Clark will be in London next week for Transport Ticketing ’09. If you’re attending the event or based in the London area, here’s your chance to meet Sarah and to make contact with fellow readers.

SAY HELLO: Meet other NFCW readers over a cocktail at the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel in London next week.

Have you got questions you’d like to ask our editor? Or would you like the chance to meet other Near Field Communications World readers to make contacts, swap ideas and improve your understanding of the NFC marketplace?

Our first reader meetup will take place in London next Tuesday, January 27, in the Maze bar at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel, home of the Transport Ticketing ’09 conference.

This is an informal event, offering you the chance to meet up with our editor and chat with other people who also have an interest in NFC. There’s no entry fee but you’ll need to buy your own drinks (unless someone would like to sponsor the meetup by putting some money behind the bar? Get in touch if you’re interested.)

The meetup will begin at 17:45 and continue until 19:00 — or for as long as there is interest. You can access the Maze bar directly from the Marriott hotel or from Grosvenor Square.

There is no requirement to register in advance but, if you can, please do help us get an idea of the number of people to expect by emailing info@nearfieldworld.com or by posting a comment below.
