Chunghwa Telecom to develop NFC services for Android

The Taiwanese government has agreed to fund a project to develop a suite of NFC applications for Android devices, PC World reports.
Mobile network operator Chunghwa Telecom and contract electronics manufacturer Cheng Uei Precision Industry have teamed up for the Android Mobile Device and Application Service Platform project.
