NFC Forum adds 19 new members

Nineteen additional companies from fourteen countries have signed up to become members of the NFC Forum.
The list of new members is headed by fabless semiconductor supplier Marvell Technology and Canadian mobile network operator Rogers Communications, both of which have joined the forum as Principal Members.
New Associate Members include Blackboard, Consult Hyperion, Deutsche Bahn Mobility Logistics, Micropross, Murata Manufacturing, SGS, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), China's Telecommunication Metrology Center (TMC) and Zapa Technology.
In the Implementer membership category the new additions are Adamsoft, Cassis International, Upek and Yulong.
Four organisations have also joined the NFC Forum in the non-profit membership category. They are Center for Internet Excellence, National Retail Federation — Association for Retail Technology Standards (NRF-ARTS), NetPort.Karlshamn and Spain's Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca — Club de Innovacion.
