Yet another NFC-related Apple patent application has been published, this time covering the use of an NFC phone to read a tag on a consumer product in order to obtain a benefit provided by the manufacturer or retailer.
The patent application includes a wide range of suggestions for benefits that could be offered, including offers for free merchandise or free music.
