PayPal expands in-store

Online payments giant PayPal has signed a deal with Ingenico that will see its mobile payments technology integrated into the POS terminal maker’s new and legacy contactless acceptance devices.

PayPal is now also working with AJB Software Design, a supplier of integrated payment solutions to large merchants, on the development of APIs retailers can use to more easily add support for PayPal in stores.

The current PayPal payments trial at five Home Depot stores is also set to be expanded to 2,000 stores, Bloomberg reports.
