Gemalto‘s trusted service management (TSM) data center in Singapore has been certified by both Visa and MasterCard and is now fully operational, the company reports.

The data centre already has two customers: Japanese mobile network operator KDDI, which launched a commercial NFC service in January 2012, and Singapore’s national NFC service which is to be delivered by a consortium of companies including Gemalto. The company also has TSM centres in France and the US, where Gemalto has been chosen as the TSM provider for Isis as well as for US financial institution Chase.
