The Hotel Sky Park Central in Seoul, Korea, has implemented an NFC-based smart guest room solution developed by LG CNS.

Guests staying on the hotel’s 15th floor are provided with an NFC phone for use during their stay that they can use to open their hotel room door. WiFi is used to control the temperature of their room, the lighting and the TV.

Guests can also use the phone to set a ‘do not disturb’ notice and to request that their room is made up.
