Jabra Revo headphones get NFC

Jabra Revo Wireless headphones with NFC pairing

Wireless audio specialist Jabra has revealed that its Revo Wireless headphones, first announced in January, include NFC for pairing with other devices.

The Revo Wireless is constructed with an aluminium frame, steel hinges and a shatterproof headband for flexibility, says Jabra, and is designed for hard-wearing everyday use and portability. The headphones are available now from around US$249.

  1. Why did they need to pair other devices with headphones? NFC can only communicate with other device when they are so close. I don’t figure out why they use it with NFC.

    1. It uses nfc to quickly tap your phone to the heaphones to connect with bluetooth for a longer lasting connection. 🙂
