Samsung Wireless Enterprise, a unified business communications platform that puts smart phones and tablets at the centre of workplace collaboration, now includes NFC support in its hot desking solution.
The platform, which encompasses voice and video calling as well as group chat, presence information, work management and location based services, supports the diversion of incoming calls from a mobile phone to a desk handset via NFC. This enables hot desk users to quickly log on and take calls at their temporary workspace.
“Tap your mobile device onto a desk handset and it all happens automatically, even diverting calls from a mobile device to a deskphone,” says Samsung. “In the Samsung Wireless Enterprise, users are free to move around whilst staying permanently connected to their collaborative processes.”
