Guinness fans around the UK can tap their Android or BlackBerry NFC phone to an NFC-enabled pub drinks dispenser to get the chance of winning a free pint of the black stuff, courtesy of a promotion being run until the end of August by the Diageo-owned brand.

To participate, drinkers at any of twenty pubs participating in the promotion tap their phone to the harp logo on the Guinness bar tap and hit the on-screen enter button to enter the draw. “If you win, enjoy a pint on us,” says Guinness. “Unfortunately this offer is not open to iPhone users.”
