Civintec has launched a multi-purpose smart card and biometric-enabled terminal with a 7-inch touch screen and NFC functionality. The uTouch runs either Linux or Android and offers support for a range of contactless standards as well as fingerprint authentication.

The device is ideal, says Civintec, for club membership, time attendance and physical access control applications.
