Dutch restaurant offers NFC ordering

Popolare's tablet-based NFC digital menu

Dutch healthy eating restaurant Popolare has introduced an NFC ordering system, designed to reduce the need for waiting staff while ensuring meals are delivered as fast and fresh as possible.

Diners at the Nijmegen eatery begin by tapping an NFC tablet to a tag containing their table number and then order their food using the tablet’s digital menu.

The tags are provided by NFC Support and the tablet-based digital menus by Twaiter.
