Wells Fargo customers to get credits for paying with Isis

Isis is offering 15,000 Wells Fargo credit card holders a 20% credit on purchases and a US$20 statement credit if they sign up and make use of its NFC payments service.

The promotion runs until 30 April 2014 and provides 20% back in statement credits on all tap and pay purchases made with a Wells Fargo credit card loaded onto an Isis mobile wallet — up to a maximum of US$100 in statement credits per calendar month. The $20 credit will also be applied to their statement the first time they tap to pay with Isis.

“The 20/20 promotion rewards consumers every time they tap to pay using a participating Wells Fargo credit card at any retail location that accepts contactless payments,” says Isis’ Ryan Hughes.

Wells Fargo announced plans to conduct an NFC payments pilot with Isis in December 2013. “During this pilot phase with Isis, we will test and learn with customers who want to be on the leading edge of this technology,” Peter Ho, digital payments manager at Wells Fargo’s consumer financial services group, explained at the time.
