NFC marketing platform provider Tapit has run two high-profile campaigns with Google in recent weeks.
Google Music used Tapit at the internet giant’s developer conference in San Francisco last week to deliver free music to attendees via NFC. Posters carrying Tapit tags allowed those attending the Google I/O After Hours party to tap with their phone to get more music from the artists playing at the event.
Meanwhile, Google and television network HBO are using Tapit’s platform at the worldwide Game of Thrones exhibition — currently in Sydney, Australia — to enrich the exhibition experience. Visitors can tap or scan at any of the featured exhibits to access more content related to each display.
