Verizon gives 2GB of free data to Android Pay users

Verizon offer
FREE DATA: Verizon is rewarding customers for making payments with Android Pay

Android Pay users across the US with a Verizon handset can get 2GB of free data when they make in-store purchases using the mobile payments service between now and mid-June.

“Tap anywhere in stores Android Pay is accepted and receive 1GB of free data,” the mobile network operator says. “On your third tap, we’ll throw in another free gig. Any rewards that will be available for a given individual participant to acquire over the course of the offer will be listed in the app at the start of the offer period.

“Individual participants will be notified of their rewards within the app and can redeem said rewards via a Verizon website. All rewards are delivered as a promotional code. Participants may decline to participate in the offer by removing the offer card from the app. Once a participant has reached three taps, he/she will not longer be eligible to receive any further rewards in this offer.”

The offer ends on 14 June and rewards must be redeemed by 13 July.
