    French banks begin HCE payments pilot

    BNP Paribas, Groupe BPCE, La Banque Postale and Société Générale have begun piloting HCE mobile payment services with Visa Europe and payment and transaction services provider Worldline. The plans were first announced in November last year and will let users make mobile payments at nearly 400,000 contactless point-of-sale terminals across the country.

    Worldline offers HCE wallet

    Atos Worldline has introduced a digital wallet that supports NFC payments via HCE. The new wallet offers clients “simplification of the complex NFC business model and facilitates convergence of contactless proximity payments and internet or mobile remote payments,” the company says.

    Atos adds portable POS

    Atos Worldline has launched Yoximo, a portable POS terminal with a contactless reader integrated into its colour screen. The terminal complies with the PCI 3 and SRED standards, and features a revolving PIN privacy shield.
