    Oil and gas company Statoil is running an NFC and QR campaign on JCDecaux OOH media spots throughout London’s Heathrow airport. When users tap or scan one of JCDecaux’s 98 Powerpole charging stations they are taken to a landing page that wishes them a nice flight, delivers promotional content and invites them to follow Statoil on Twitter or LinkedIn. More

    BA pilots NFC bag tags

    British Airways has begun testing a reusable digital luggage tag that contains an e-ink display and can be updated via NFC with new flight information each time a passenger travels. Nokia Lumia handsets are being used by Microsoft employees during the one month trial at Heathrow Terminal 5. All smartphones will be supported when the service goes live, BA says.
