Our second presentation will be a case study from Canada, a mobile payments success story where all of the country’s large carriers and four of the country’s ‘Big Five’ banks now offer their customers secure element-based NFC mobile payments. The presentation will explain how Canada has become a world leader in mobile payments and the factors that have been key to its success.

The webinar will be chaired by NFC World’s editor, Sarah Clark, and there will be ample opportunity for questions and answers at the end.

Martha was twice elected as a Member of Parliament in Canada and served as Official Opposition Critic for International Trade; Associate Finance; Transport, Infrastructure and Communities; and Public Works and Government Services. She is also an executive fellow at the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy.
