LG Optimus Vu to come with NFC?

LG has released a video teasing its new Optimus Vu smartphone, which looks set to come with NFC.

The 30-second video focuses on the phone’s 4:3 screen, but Japanese blog Datacider reports that the Android 2.3-based handset’s specs include a 1.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8060 Snapdragon system on a chip, five inch display, an eight megapixel camera and NFC.

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.

LG now produces several NFC handsets, ranging from the T530 feature phone through the Optimus Net and the Prada 3.0 to the LG Optimus LTE, a high-end device so far available only in Korea. NFC handsets in the pipeline include the LG Viper, the CX2 and the X3.
