Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) will use a cloud-hosted instance of Tyfone’s u4ia mobile platform to provide customers with mobile banking facilities and the company’s iCashe mobile wallet system.

SSFCU, with more than 875,000 members, is the eighth largest credit union in the United States.

Tyfone will also supply Star One Credit Union, the country’s ninth largest credit union, with mobile banking services and “a seamless path to NFC contactless payment technology” for its 89,000 members.

Meanwhile the company has also signed a deal with Indonesian card personalisation specialist PT Number One.

A 10-year partnership will see PT Number One offering the company’s iCashe financial solutions suite, which includes Tyfone’s SideTap carrier-agnostic NFC payments solutions, in the Indonesian market.

“This partnership provides an excellent opportunity for Tyfone and PT Number One to help drive the mobile financial services landscape in a market with more than 150 million mobile users,” says Tyfone president Prabhakar Tadepalli.
