Motor manufacturer Lenze has introduced the Smart Motor, an industrial motor that can be controlled via NFC.

Utilising the motor’s built-in NFC capability along with Lenze’s smartphone app, users can control the motor from a distance.

“The Lenze Smart Motor is especially designed for materials handling applications such as in the use of horizontal and vertical conveyor belts,” a Lenze spokesperson told NFC World.
