SPEAKER: Nets’ Hans Henrik Hoffmeyer

The hour-long webcast was hosted by Sarah Clark, editor of NFC World, and featured a short introduction from Giles Sutherland, vice president of strategic alliances at Carta, followed by an in-depth presentation from payments service provider Nets’ Hans Henrik Hoffmeyer and a summary of key learnings from Carta’s Elizabeth “Buffy” Duke.

The webinar took place on May 12 and topics covered included:

  • An insight into the lessons Nets has learned from deploying an in-house tokenization solution;
  • A detailed look at the Nordics market and why the region is on course to becoming a leading innovator in mobile and digital payments;
  • Nets’ tokenization roadmap, how it went about looking for a token service provider, and a detailed explanation of its evaluation process.
  • An introduction to Carta’s Token Processing Appliance (TPA) platform, the reasons why Nets went about choosing it in order to implement a tokenization service able to serve 200 banks and what the platform enables Nets to achieve.

The presentation was followed by an extensive Q&A session which covered the time it will take for a bank to get up and running with the Nets and Carta solution and whether there is a preference for a hosted model or an on-premise solution when it comes to deploying tokenization in-house.

A full recording of the webinar is now available free of charge in the NFC World+ Knowledge Centre, along with a downloadable slide deck from the event.
