Apple Pay to charge Slovak banks 0.2% transaction fee

Apple is to charge participating banks a 0.2% transaction fee when its Apple Pay service launches in Slovakia later this year, according to local newspaper Hospodárske Noviny. A provisioning fee of 1.17 euros (US$1.32) will be charged as well.

Apple Pay was rumoured to be launching in the country in late February to early March but it is now expected to go live in Slovakia in June 2019.
