Apple iPhone XR

The Apple iPhone XR was announced on 12 September 2018.

The device, along with the iPhone Xs and the iPhone Xs Max, has the new Background Tag Reading feature that allows NFC tags to be read and to initiate an action without first opening an app.

The iPhone XR will start shipping on 26 October 2018.
