The HTC One Max is an Android ‘phablet’ with a built-in fingerprint sensor.

The fingerprint scanner “allows users to lock or unlock the screen and quickly launch up to three favourite applications by assigning an individual finger to each,” says HTC.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM, the HTC One Max includes either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The One Max was announced on 14 October 2013 and is expected to be available before the end of the month.
