    Samsung Pay will launch in the UK and Spain “very soon”, the head of Samsung Pay Europe has announced during the phone-maker’s European Forum 2016 event in Monaco. “More details at Mobile World Congress in a few weeks’ time,” Pocket-lint reports the company’s Nathalie Oestmann as saying.

    Sony is set to launch a new range of soundbars complete with NFC for easy pairing, reports Pocket-Lint. The soundbars will also come with HDMI connectivity and are expected to be available from later this year.

    A new NFC service called BlackBerry Share has been demonstrated at BlackBerry World this week, Pocket-Lint reports. “BlackBerry users with an NFC-enabled handset can now share apps with their friends by simply tapping the two phones together,” the publication explains. “Each user will receive a list of the apps their friend has downloaded from BlackBerry App World. Just press the ‘share’ option when you’re in the application store itself.”

    Visa Europe plans NFC wallet

    An NFC-based mobile wallet that “will work with not just Visa cards from multiple banks, but other cards like American Express,” is set to be introduced in August or September next year, Visa Europe commercial director Steve Perry told delegates at the payments network’s security summit in Frankfurt last week, reports Pocket-Lint.
