Porsche BlackBerry NFC phone arrives at Harrods

Iconic London department store Harrods has become the exclusive UK stockist of the NFC BlackBerry phone co-produced by RIM and Porsche Design.

The Porsche Design P'9981 features a forged stainless-steel frame, hand-wrapped leather back cover, sculpted Qwerty keyboard and a unique Porsche Design user interface.
The device runs BlackBerry 7.0 and includes a 1.2GHz processor, HD video recording and 24-bit high-resolution graphics as well as "advanced sensors that enable new augmented reality applications".
The handset is available now for £1,275 (US$1,980).
