Burger King customers in the US will soon be able to order their meals ahead of arrival and pay for their orders using their mobile phone and a PayPal account. Burger King is working with self-service ordering provider Tillster to roll out the service to all locations across the country by early next year.
To use the service customers launch the app, place their order and choose to pay with PayPal. The app then generates a one-time code that the customer can present to the cashier when they pick up their food in order to process their payment.
The Burger King app, available for iOS and Android, will also offer customers exclusive offers and discounts at the fast food chain’s restaurants, while also allowing users to find their closest Burger King location and browse nutritional information.
